St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17th every year.  It is on this day to celebrate the anniversary of St. Patrick’s death in the fifth century.  For over 1000 years the Irish have celebrated this day as a religious holiday.  In America, people usually celebrate by wearing green, having drinks and dinner at the end of the day.
