Brains
Mrs.Woodwards 4th hour Advanced Science class was dissecting sheep brains recently. They got to cut out and identify the different parts and talked about the function of each part. The class was split into groups of 2 people, one to pin the names of the parts and the other would cut the brain and hold it. Some students were kind of grossed out, “It was disgusting and looked like a chicken breast.” said Devyn Ringle. They learned about the difference between human brains and animal brains during their lesson. Like the difference in growth, what parts the sheep use that we don’t and vice versa. What you learn in the class is the basics of the brain and sometimes other parts such as hearts, stomachs, lungs or even their eyes.
