Student Showcase
What happened to the Parent Teacher Conferences? What are some of the teachers’ points of views? Here at Mt. Harrison our Parent Teacher Conferences have changed into our new Student Showcase. Some of our teachers’ feel like the Student Showcase is great. “They are so much more positive and uplifting; instead of putting students down we are lifting them up” said one Mt. Harrison High School teacher. Students are participating in the showcase are proud to show off their work to the attendees.
There is an opinion shared by teachers that students need to be more organized “they need more time to set up at the end of the school day instead of showing up early to set up” said a Mt. Harrison High School teacher. Students set up for the Student Showcase students set up in their homeroom with an artifact from each class.
Our last Student Showcase was on December 8th. Thank you so much to those who attended. Our next student showcase will be the 2nd of February its 5:30- 6:30 p.m. The school would love feedback from students, parents, and attendees on the last one to see if there are any changes that need to be made.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Mt. Harrison High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
